Vigilum / Cookies & browser storage

Cookies & browser storage

Local preferences and saved results, explained separately from cookies.

Application cookies

This application build does not set application cookies or use session storage. Local storage is a separate browser feature, described below.

What stays in your browser

  • vigilum_theme stores your chosen light or dark appearance.
  • vigilum_notice_dismissed records dismissal of the testing and storage notice.
  • vigilum_benchmark_history_v2 stores up to 30 saved benchmark sessions.

Your controls

Open History to clear saved sessions. Use your browser’s site-data settings to remove preferences and records. Clearing site data resets the theme and notice dismissal. If storage is blocked, tests can still run, but settings and history may not persist.

Older versions

Legacy vigilum_legal_consent and vigilum_analytics_consent values may remain from earlier versions. This build does not read those values or treat them as permission. Dismissing the notice is not analytics consent or acceptance of legal terms.

Hosting and network requests

Loading the site and its assets requires network requests. This source review does not establish the hosting provider’s logging, retention, or cookie practices. See the Privacy page for the application’s data boundaries.

Vigilum

Browser workloads. Measured observations, not hardware certification.

Local session history

No saved sessions. Completed runs appear here when local storage is available.

Stored only in this browser.
